I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho on April 10, 2009. It was a relief but very unreal. I have to remind myself that I'm done and it just doesn't seem like it. The ceremonies were pretty awesome. Elder Neil L. Anderson came and spoke at our commencement exercises. He talked about the wisdom of the world and the Wisdom of God. (An interesting note: This was also Elder Anderson's first speaking assignment after being ordained to the Quorum of Twelve Apostles the day before).
After the graduation stuff, we (Mom, Kate, Mike, Stephanie, Anna, Donna Duerden, Aunt Kathleen, and me) went to Gringo's. It was delicious and the waitress was cute. hehe.
Once all the hulabaloo was over, I went home and got in my grungy clothes and just laid around. At one point I took a nap too. It was delightful. I'd have to force away some panic because my brain would think that I had to do some homework, but I'd just coax the panic away with memories of the cap and gown I had worn earlier that day and all was better.
So what now?
I'm looking for a job so I can leave Deseret Book and be a big kid. Until I find something I will be working nearly full-time hours at Deseret Book. It's a good job, and they like me there. I've been just taking it easy to recuperate from the fiasco of school.
I'll keep ya'all updated as soon as I know what I'm doing with my life.
